Lots of crew moves for the cowboys the day before the match

The Dallas Cowboys make 6 moves to their roster ahead of Sunday’s game against the Bengals – dallascowboys.com

In a somewhat surprising move, the Dallas Cowboys conceded defensive tackle junior John Ridgway. In a similar move, the Cowboys promoted rookie center Alec Lindstrom to bolster their offensive line after Conor McGovern suffered a sprained ankle.

As expected, the Cowboys officially signed quarterback Cooper Rush from the coaching staff to the active roster on Saturday, with Rush set to start in place of Dak Prescott (thumb) on Sunday against the Bengals.

The Cowboys also signed coaching squad kicker Brett Maher to the active roster. To make room for Rush and Maher, the club ceded entry to defensive junior John Ridgway and put defensive end Tarrell Basham (thigh) on the injured reserve. Basham was injured in the second half last Sunday against Boch, and he will now be out for at least four weeks.

With two coaching staff heights available, the Cowboys raised quarterback Will Greer and rookie center Alec Lindstrom.

Michael Gallup disqualified from Sunday’s game – Sharyan Williams, PFT

The Dallas Cowboys would be without Michael Gallup in exchange for the powerful attack of the Bengals. Gallup has been one of Dallas’ most consistent big-playing threats and would badly miss Dallas’s desperate offense in explosive play, but it could be back soon.

cowboy reception Michael Gallup Coming back. Gallup had limited practices throughout the week which included working out in team rehearsals.

He won’t play this week, as he was one of five players the Cowboys left out, but a third week is a possibility.

“Michael has done an excellent job hitting these (injury rehabilitation) goals, and I think we’re kind of in the final stages here,” coach Mike McCarthy said Friday, via Rob Phillips from the team’s website.

Jerry Jones and Mike McCarthy lobbied Keelen Moore and Sir Lamb – Calvin Watkins and The Dallas Morning News

Mike McCarthy has been vocal about his opinion of attack coordinator Kellen Moore’s recent performance. Cowboy crime once had a major downturn and McCarthy offered his thoughts on what changes should happen.

After a dismal offensive performance in Season opener loss to Tampa BayMcCarthy said he spent extra time with Moore, the offensive coordinator, on his playing call sheet, and noted that he should call for a smarter and sometimes more conservative game.

“We just have to trust what we build on our list and get to it [to] Adjust when you have a change in [the] “The lineup, and we’re definitely working through that,” McCarthy said. “And we want to make sure we’re helping but maybe not as conservative as you’d like.

“Let’s be honest, Keelen’s time as a moderator was able to play hard, very well. But we’re at a point now, we have to be smarter in certain situations. It’s all part of growing up as a theater communicator.”

Jerry Jones and Mike McCarthy put a cowboy brawl offense known – Calvin Watkins, DMN

Owner and General Manager, Jerry Jones, was very clear in his comments that he expected more from CeeDee Lamb. Lamb has struggled with critical weaknesses and the team hopes to be able to raise their game to a consistent wide receiver.

Jones spoke at 105.3 The Fan (KRLD-FM) Friday morning and expressed that Lamb needs to get over his own problems because that’s what elite receivers do.

“People are covering your best receiver,” Jones told The Fan. What do you do? You have to play through cover-up. You have to catch the balls covered. You say, ‘Okay, that’s a cliched thing to say.’ But you can’t do some plays just because you’re covered up.”
